Abstract in Macro [explored]

Shot for Macro Mondays, theme "Abstract in Macro".

The Assignment:

Macro photography is actually a great way to create an abstract image. I thought it might be helpful to give you a potted explanation to help you along a little, so I quote:

"Like abstract art, abstract photography concentrates on shape, form, colour, pattern and texture [and more].

What do you think, are you looking at a dying star? A set of brain neurons communicating? Or at one of these fancy static electricity lamps?

I shot this at a high ISO and there was clearly noise present. I used Lightroom to reduce it. I am in awe by the capacity of Lightroom to do this.
