Breathless
A shot taken from the highest point of the road between Arequipa and Chivay in Peru. The altitude here is 4,800m (15,750ft) and the air is very thin making it difficult to breathe, hence the title. We were on the way back from the Colca Canyon and the bus stopped at this point. We got off and had a little walk and took a few pictures. That was quite enough exercise at this altitude and left us panting for breath. The mountain in the distance is Ampato at 6,388m (21,000ft).
