Nikolai - Powerslide

This is for my first assignment at Fotofagskolen. We were told to shoot an action photo which in we had to show how to freeze action. The picture had to be vertical, black and white and natural light only. I usually prefer to shoot horizontal, with color and usually with three or four studio lights. My first thought was "man, why all these limitations" and "why can't I just shoot it the way I want?", but now I see why. This assignment really helped me break out of my little box and try to progress in a different direction. I think.

 

Anyways, I'm pretty stoked on the result. I added another shot next to it, which I think made the image twice as good.
