Minecraft Quilt: 03
Choosing what would go on the back of the quilt took me way, way longer than it should have. I guess it was a subconscious stall tactic, that resulted in the loss of real time. Maybe two weeks of futzing on the quilt top, hoping inspiration would strike me about what to do on the back.
I bought two different thrifted sheets as options for the backing, but ultimately decided it was in my DNA (and my recycled fabric stash) to piece together 9 large squares from recycled men's shirts.
Originally, the quilt dimensions were approx 80"x90", but after deciding to piece together men's shirts for the backing, I decided to stay square and go 90"x90".
