5. Simple Sweatshirt Recon: Cutting the collar

Cut off the bottom band of the second sweatshirt. Cut two rectangles, each measuring approx. 13" x 14", for collar.

 

Not pictured: Sewed rectangles together along short end. Folded long rectangle in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, sewed both short sides. Turned inside out and topstitched. Attached collar to neckline after pinning and messing with placement.
