arata earrings no. 41
In Japanese, "arata" (AH-RAH-TAH) means "new"!
These earrings are handcrafted from Japanese glass seed beads with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, using a handweaving technique called "gourd stitch." The beadcaps and leverbacks are all sterling silver.
