The charming and handsome Mr. Cat is making eyes at you. I carved and printed the portrait of the handsome gray and white cat, with his pink nose, and imagined he needed the cursive text, "Why, hello there..." in yellow. Something about his look suggested to me that this cat is trying to charm the viewer, and were he comfortably lying in your home you might find yourself doing something crazy like getting him a cat-sized bowl of ice cream because he asked you to.
This is one of an edition of 8 prints. Each is printed on Japanese kozo (or mulberry) paper, 12.5" by 8.5" (or 31.5 cm by 21 cm).
