The Blue Whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is a marine mammal belonging to the suborder of baleen whales (called Mysticeti).[3] At up to 32.9 metres (108 ft) in length and 172 metric tons (190 short tons)[4] or more in weight, it is the largest animal ever known to have existed.
The ornaments are roughly 15 cm (6 inches)across. The blue whale is shown in the upper three photos. The lower two photos show some of the other ornaments available in the Natural History collection.
