Seahorse Pillow

Did you know that seahorses and pipefish are unique in that it is the males which become pregnant and carry the offspring!?

 

This is an original lino block print seahorse in yellow textile ink on turquoise fabric. The backside is patchwork of printed fabrics- a line drawing of an urban scene and a seahorse and other marine creture inspired patterned fabric. He is stuffed with cotton/poly stuffing.
