P is for Phoenix (and polka dot)

P is for phoenix on my alphabet quilt in progress. This is a lino block I cut many years ago, but just printed in reds and yellows and blended oranges on the lavender coloured cotton recently. The P is from my collection of vintage letterpress type. The polka dot fabric is thrifted, in good quilting tradition.
