B is for bear, bats and blossoms

The B is printed from a vintage letterpress B. The bear is a screen print. The Japanese bats with blossoms is another screenprint I made, based on an old Japanese print.

 

This is my interminable alphabet quilt-in-progress. I thought I'd be clever and focus on printmaking, since I had more faith in my printmaking than sewing abilities. I should probably have simply sewn a very simple quilt to start... but here is the work in progress (WIP).
