matrioshka 4" x 4"
This multi-media 4" x 4" (~10 cm squared) piece was created for the craftster chunky page swap. It is an original lino block print of the matrioshka (or babushka, or nesting doll) in fuschia and blue on faux bois fabric for a low-rent 3D look. It is stuffed with polyester-cotton blend stuffing like a pillow. The other fabrics are vintage upholstery and a matrioshka print fabric. It is embellished with glass beads and embroidery floss.
