Cottonwood trail lino print

Cottonwood trees are in the poplar family. They not as common here as they are to the south, but their branches form such a pleasing shape, that this tree was perfect for the scene.

This limited edition (to a total of 30 prints) linoleum block print of a cottonwood tree in winter is printed in water-based black block printing ink on kozo (mulberry) paper from Japan. The block itself is 4" by 6" (or 10.1 cm by 15.2 cm) but it is printed with a generous margin.
