mmmm... Ema Datsi!

lunch in Thimphu, with a less-than-flattering shot of yours truly by my travel partner John (I was trying to keep the flames from bursting forth like dragon's breath).

 

Ema datsi is chili peppers cooked in a yak cheese sauce, and can be quite hot (as this was) for the American palette. Something of an acquired taste, but I rather like it.
