I asked Dr K to help me with this photograph of a penile stent.
It is interesting because there is a link between erectile dysfunction and heart disease. Dr. K is a urologist collaborating with cardiologists on a national clinical study investigating the use of the penile stent to help men with erectile dysfunction. Our medical school is among the top sites in the United States in recruiting patients for this clinical trial.
Two lights were used. Canon 540 into Wescott Apollo 1/4 power for background.
Top light Canon 580 ex at 1/128 in gridded 8 inch reflector.
Camera Canon 5d and 100 macro lens.
