DAY 10 OF ... as was said in Camelot, "I have no plan. I go wherever chance takes me." WITH EMPATHY WITH THIS MAN, READING A NEWSPAPER. Isabel Bishop's drawing

Artist, Isabel Bishop's Man Reading on Bench. Perhaps, like me, he was looking for employment. His hat and coat waiting beside him as his only possessions.

I do dictaphone transcription work which is to transcribe words from mini tapes or regular-size tapes, for long blogs, autobiographies, TO RECORD ORAL HISTORIES, and all writing.. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012. GNF@earthlink.net

With each day of REGULARLY searching for a job, I shall put up a photo to give hope to continue, either via color combos or texture combos. Thanks for your viewing. Diane Albertina

We purchased this drawing in New York City from a lovely gallery lady who had known Isabel very well, and we were told that our drawing is a man reading "in Union Square" where Ms. Bishop would REGULARLY go to sketch. Now, years later, I go onto Google and search the words: Smithsonian interview isabel bishop. You will find the interesting Union Square / Isabel Bishop little story there that she told in her ORAL HISTORY interview. ENJOY!
