Chew Valley Lake

We arrived just as a working party had almost finished cutting back willow scrub and reedbeds-for the first time in 20yrs they said. So it all looked a bit bare and barren-But I found this lone tree had escaped the chainsaws, and formed a lovely silhouette aganst the low January sun.
