Touches of gold

Last light on Lembert Dome, from the Tuolumne Meadows Campground. The plane of the face is almost in the sun direction, so the portions that stick out a bit still catch the light. The parallel grooves at the lower left are the Water Cracks, an enjoyable 5.7 or 5.8 climb for folks starting out in climbing and going with a reliable leader.
