Matthes Crest, from Echo Peaks

A beautiful day with constantly changing light and shadow from the small scattered clouds. The upper part of this mile-long spine of rock was not covered by a glacier, in contrast to the granite slopes to the left and below the crest, which were smoothed off by the glaciers.
