Darting By

This is the medieval clapper bridge which used to carry people and traffic over the East Dart river at Dartmeet on Dartmoor, Devon, UK. Further down stream the river joins the West Dart and from then on it becomes the River Dart which flows into the English Channel at Dartmouth. Dartmoor is an area of moorland which covers 954 sq. km. famous for its granite outcrops known as tors. This was taken using a D700 and Zeiss Distagon f2.8 21mm lens at f16 giving an exposure of 1/5 sec. allowing some movement in the water. I used a Gitzo Mountaineer series 1 tripod kit with a Lee 0.6 ND filter and Coral grad inverted to bring out more colour in the rocks on what was a cold, dull day.
