Taking the PS.

A day out with a difference today, not a common or garden trip to our normal test station, but a hundred mile round trip to Merseyside to track down a scarce resource. That 'resource' from the crumbling ruins of VOSA's vehicle testing empire was a Certifying Officer', a grade required to sign off an alteration to seating layout and carrying capacity on this ex Stagecoach Alexander PS bodied Volvo B10M. It's a shame you can't get this type of thing done at busy junctions, motorway service areas and tourist traps as there's no shortage of impromptu 'VOSA tests' as these places... I need only have driven twenty miles to have encountered three regular locations! ;-)

The picture above was taken of soon to be delivered Quantock Motor Services L628 TDY outside the Bear Inn, Brereton, South Cheshire.
