Jones LH.
Much as I wanted to like the Bristol LH, I find the one which I tried to operate left something of a bad taste in my mouth. Still, I won't let that stop me from posting the odd picture of the type.
This one came to me like so many, from the collection of a late friend, in this case Bob Follwell.
The vast majority of LHs were unsurprisingly delivered to Tilling and NBC operators, but a comparatively small number found their way new to independent firms. XTH 501M was one of the latter, having been bought new by Jones of Carmarthen in whose ownership its seen here sitting on the as yet un-redeveloped bus station in that town.
