DMS in Stafford
The various portions into which the once monolithic Midland Red was split pre-privatisation, all seemed to find homes for deposed ex London Transport DMS Fleetlines. Like the many independents who took them on too, they made them work and seemingly got good service from them.
Midland Red North (with its Chaserider local identity) amassed a reasonable number and I recall seeing them at the 'new' Delta Way premises at Cannock. This though is another of Clem Smith's slides, taken opposite the railway station in Stafford. As the bus looks 'ex works', I would assume Park Royal bodied TGX 831M was relatively new to these parts.
