Why would you?
This is a crudely photographed photo of a photo which was given to me by a late family friend and transport enthusiast circa 1970. As he was my parents generation, I assume that he took the photo himself. He was also a scholar of all things Wolverhampton Corporation so Brush bodied Daimler COG5 JW 8102 was well within his remit.
My personal fascination with this photo as a young lad lay in the main side advert. It was a variation on another which I'd seen on a London bus, which read 'Drink Ty-Phoo Tea for indigestion'. I can remember thinking what a rubbish advert, why would you if that was the result?
