Seddon RU on test.
Before we leave the test track, here's another scan of a print bought yesterday. This one is on the face of it less exciting, but for anyone who's driven a Seddon RU, if speed was involved, its probably no less brave than the Leopard in yesterday's posting! The driver would probably be experiencing some degree of understeer here, and if it was anything like ours, whether it might stop in a straight line if required, or even just whether it might stop at all. Still, the operational issues with the type were unknown at this time and I'm sure the manufacturers had high hopes for it having seen the sales figures of the Bristol RE it was trying to emulate.
Pennine bodied TBU 958G, I suspect at MIRA.
