A crackin' little coach.

Up there close to the top of my top ten favourite buses I've ever driven would be this ex Grey Cars Willowbrook Viking bodied AEC Reliance, 890 ADV. For a vehicle of it's age, performance, if required, was awesome... and that's not in the modern debased sense. It's smallish AH470 engine had unbelievable torque whereby downward gear changing on most normal rising gradients were unnecessary.

890 is seen here basking in the early morning sun in central Taunton whilst several Quantock Motor Services 'event' crews adjourned to a nearby cafe for breakfast.
