My first 35mm slide film proved to be a minor disaster as I ripped the sprockets attempting to wind the film on beyond where its manufacturers intended it to. I made what I thought to be a brave attempt at opening the camera, and stuffing the torn film reluctantly back into it its canister whilst in a wardrobe in a darkened room. The result was only partially successful as seen here with 'light' creeping into the pictures.
Anyway, in this salvaged scene we see a summer Saturday in 1978 at Scarborough. Two Eastern Scottish vehicles have two from Western Scottish for company, all having worked in on 'wakes' holiday express services. Brand new Eastern Scottish Plaxton Supreme bodied Seddon Pennine VII CSG 783S looks particularly smart in its classy green and cream livery.
