Sad end for a once proud coach.
Tempering the warm feeling of a successful weekend and indeed a reasonable preceding week was the news that this ex Yelloways Reliance had been vandalised to beyond the point of no return. NNC 854P had been a long term resident outside the Quantock Depot awaiting possible preservation. The coach had never operated here, though it was hoped that it could have become a running mate for sister bus WDK 562T also owned. Unfortunately it was not to be and it, and several other buses stored outside had immense amounts of vandal damage inflicted upon them recently. Pushing it beyond the point of no return, Quantock staff have now removed any worthwhile salvageable components and it's hulk will soon go for scrap.
