Out of hibernation
This was another shot which I took the day this bus went for it's MoT test, but the 'Renown' photostream was getting a touch 'Lodekka'd out at the time, so I didn't share it. 'Admiral Boscawen', as VDV 752 has been named for many years is seen here at Linley on the Cheshire / Staffordshire border between Kidsgrove and Alsager, indeed the railway linking the two towns passes over the bridge to the rear of the bus. Due to a test booking mishap, the Quantock LDL came to us for test, 180 miles from base, rather than the test station 180 yards from their garage!
VDV 752 and it's near identical twin 753 started life with Western National and have lead practically inseparable lives ever since, both are currently in the Taunton based fleet.
