Play for Today
My bus for today's event was another of Steve Morris's treasures, this ex Barton 'Lowbridge' AEC Regent V 851 FNN. Northern Counties built the stylish (for 1960) bodywork. The bus had been with us for attention to the hydraulic operation of it's clutch, which had been awful to say the least. Thankfully, the bus performed it's role as spare, deputizing where required with aplomb. It's seen here laying over in the lesser used entrance / exit of Crewe's bus station.
