Back at the Cross Gates garage on our same day out was this Bedford YRQ Duple Viceroy PEW 799K. By now, my phobia of photographing 'lightweight' PSVs was under control after counselling from 'berresfordsmotors', and the realization that the genre as we knew it was in retreat. Suddenly, for that's how it seemed, these types which had formerly been everywhere, were almost nowhere to be seen. That said, whilst I really liked the facelifted Viceroy's 'big brother', the Commander IV, it's only now that I grudgingly feel an acceptance of it.
