A once common sight.

They were once everywhere, lightweight Bedford and Ford coaches with bodies like Duple's Dominant. They were so commonplace that I seldom if ever photographed them... a fact to which fellow omnibologist 'berresfordsmotors' will attest to. At least he bothered, as now they are practically no more, I'm wishing that I'd a more representative selection of these buses and coaches which formed the backbone of many a small independent's fleet. This particulary smart example, a Bedford YRT, MAN 111V is from the 'Tours (Isle of Man) fleet of Corkhills

and is seen taking a break whilst engaged in Day Tour work circa 1980, though I can't remember the location.
