At the end of the day ...

... on the Sunday of the Kirkby Stephen Easter event, Peter Bibby's Seddon Pennine VII was captured swinging into the car park outside the Co-op strore. Last time I saw this coach it was still in Sworder's colours, but it looks fantastic painted thus and with just enough characteristic bling. Personally I liked it with its custom made cut-away under bumper panel (which has now been replaced by a standard one), but it's not my coach so the owner has the privilege to do as he sees fit!

A nice little touch is that OPP 222P also carries the period 'Another by Plaxtons' adverts often applied to new motors as they left the Scarborough factory in the '70s.

Plaxton Supreme coachwork on a 12m (40ft) Gardner 6HLXB powered Seddon Pennine VII with 6 speed ZF gearbox.
