Grim day... grim future.
In a story mirroring that of the Gash company, Wrights of Penycae were another traditional independent which expanded out of all proportion with 'opportunities' afforded by de-regulation. By this time the firm had changed it's 'tag' to Wright's of Wrexham, which it has to be said would be recognised more widely. Also taking advantage of the premature disposal of young Titan double deckers being ousted by Greater Manchester, Wright's purchased ANE 2T and painted it in this, their new distinctive livery. The bus is loading on a very wet Wrexham bus station for a journey to Cefn Mawr, the home of another large independent, Vales. Sadly, Wright's are no longer with us either.
