Amongst the many now defunct small to medium sized South Wales municipal bus companies was Taff Ely. The company was formerley known as Pontypridd UDC until local government re-organisation in the '70's. The outfit's last new double deckers were AEC Regent Vs, continuing with deliveries for a couple of years more after this one. ETG 388C a 1965 example with MCW body awaits school children, who co-incidentally are wearing matching livery! Some of T.E's examples had AEC's AV505 engine.
