Arran Transport, Bedford YRQ, Plaxton Derwent, HCS 351N.

Photos of buses which fell into the catagory refered to in the industry as 'lightweights' are sadly lacking in my collection. There was a time when I simply couldn't be bothered to raise my camera to a Bedford or a Ford, in much the same way that I wouldn't with a minibus today, infact a lot of whats around today! One that slipped through the net was this Bedford YRQ with Plaxton Derwent body working for the Arran Transport & Trading company, on the Isle of Arran,Scotland. It's seen here part way through it's journey from Brodick to Whiting Bay, passing a BP petrol station (with no prices displayed, always a warning to excersise caution..., but how we'd love it's then expensive prices today!)
