Another recent arrival.
Whilst we're looking at poor quality enhanced images taken in half light, here's another!
This old girl, an AEC Mammoth Major, arrived a week or so ago, purchased by a friend and fellow 'Flickrite'.
There appeared to be some confusion over whether it was actually 'runner' or not, it being bought in the belief that it was, but the people from who's yard it came claiming it last ran twenty years ago.
Anyway, with the aid of a powerful 'jump pack' on the starter and a couple of false goes due to poor connections, the old girl burst into life within a minute overall. Not too bad if the twenty years is accurate and also allowing for a temperature of 4 degrees 'c'.
Should make a very pleasant preserved vehicle methinks.
