Trident tested
So far as I can recall, this was the first Dennis Trident to visit RBW. It's currently one of a pair in the 'Stantons of Stoke' fleet owned and operated by fellow flickrite 'stokie14' and was with us for MoT preparation.
I gather it started life in London, but as a non standard 'low height' type, it was soon sent packing by Tfl who for some reason preferred higher and therefore less versatile deckers. With their generally superfluous centre exits removed, up seated and with youth on their side, they made a decent second hand purchase. The colours it wears here ... I'm hesitant to call it a livery, were those of its last owner, Wardle Transport.
