Catterall's Swift.

A picture taken on one of our big days out at either the tail end of the 1970s or the very dawn of the '80s... I think the former. This particular venture took us to Warwickshire and into Oxfordshire. One of the places at which we called was the well known operation, Catterall's of Southam where we were pleased to see a variety of AEC and Leyland buses. For me, one of the most interesting was this ex Red Rover AEC Swift , EPP 59G, very similar in all respects to the one which had fostered my interest in the type, Stoniers ex United Services SWT 704F. The Swift is flanked by two other no less interesting AECs, both Harrington Grenadier bodied Reliances.
