FFS - an OB.
The quaint charms of the standard Bedford OB were always a little lost on me though Mrs 'R' loves them. They were without doubt an iconic little bus in the true sense of the word but there's something not quite right to my mind with a bus you have to start by pulling the choke out. Petrol engines eh, they'll never catch on!
That said, this little beaut was something quite different and appealed to me right away when I first saw it. It's an OB but re-bodied by H V Burlingham of Blackpool with a small version of their very popular Seagull body.
Many moons ago ... on the occasion of this picture's taking, I was pleased to accept a lift back to civilization aboard it from Lathalmond museum and was instantly enthused by FFS 876.
