Part of an on going project : Captive Animals. I have alot of questions around this subject.............i have had many pets or companions as i prefer to call them. We have lived and played well together, however i wonder would they have been better off in the wild? The natural world is a cruel and forgiving one, it's a stuggle for survival day in day out. But by the sheer act of engaging in this struggle is one ultimately free! Which is better? And then there is the question of messing with the natural process of evolution ie: cross breeding, taming the wild for farming, food, clothes, transport etc.
