Day 12: storming the castle
2nd day with fairly beautiful weather. I always wanted to take some shots of the numerous castles/ruins which crown so many of the mountaintops of my homeland (the northern black forest). First target of choice: the ruin of the castle of Nagold (located only 20 km away from my village). Since I overslept a little (I wanted to take some shots of the ruin at dawn but since the weather in the night was awful I didn't set my alarm clock ...) I started the climb at approx. 11 o'clock - with a burning sun and very humid air ;o) Naturally I took all of my photo-equipment including my tripod with me.
It was a beautiful climb/hike (photos coming soon - I hope) but next time I take someone with me and accidentialy give him/her/it all the equipment for carrying - I need free hands, don't I? :o)
