Approaching Storm

This is another view of Bog Lake Bog, looking west towards a small island of mineral soil on the far left. I shot this about an hour or so before sunset as a storm was approaching. The lighting was fleeting as small breaks in between the dark clouds produced brightly lit areas among the darker landscape.

I set up the camera, waited for a nice beam of light, pulled the dark slide and took this photo. I put the slide back in, pulled the holder, and started to pick up another holder for a second shot. Before I could even reach into my backpack it started sleeting so hard that the boardwalk turned white before I could pack the camera and leave! Glad I got this one shot!
