Prairie Grasses

It's the grasses that make the prairies into highly productive ecosystems, so the next couple of posts are of prairie grasses. This photo is of Junegrass (Koeleria pyrimidata), one of the smaller but also prettier early flowering grasses at Helen Allison Savanna.
