Golden Canyon
Looking back down Golden Canyon across the upper reaches of Badwater Basin to the Panamint Range in the distance. Due to the cloudy skies and subdued light, the hills in Golden Canyon weren't very golden. These are the same gold and red sediments that appear in photos of Zabriskie Point which is behind and to the left of me as I shot this image.
