3Sept09 New pitcher
At our first garden party of the season I worried that someone would drop the glass pitcher (nobody did). But I wanted to buy an unbreakable one for future use. When I started looking, there were none left in the shops. I had to order this one, and it arrived today. Ironically, the weather in the night was terrible, with wind roaring around the house as if we were on the edge of a hurricane. We may not have any more al fresco dining this year.
This cost £17.99; expensive but stylish and sturdy.
