Kathleen wanted to wear black for Juan and Howard's birthday party. And what Kathleen the diva bitch wants; Kathleen the diva bitch gets. The sequence sweater and matching top were found on the street (tags still attached!), are a cotton and silk blend, and were not Made in China. The trousers are a fantastic geometric print by Ann Taylor and cost too much ($5.00), but they went perfectly with the top set. The shoes came from Goodwill ($1 sale) and are Nine West mules with a fuzzy embellishment. They say "trampy boudoir", but the price tag said "they'll do in any room". Anyway, they work. The balloons were found for $.59 a piece at the party store in the Tendernob (and add just the right amount of color without looking tacky), and the copper wig was a splurge for $20 at Ardwarks on Haight Street.
