This picture was taken in the city of Nara, in the Nara prefecture. Kyoto is 45 km away and in a different prefecture. Cherry blossoms were in bloom. I don't how Flickr interpreted the GPS data as Kyoto.
I posted the original image in April 2018, but there was a man's head obscuring the lower right quadrant. I spent hours trying to get rid of his head in the older versions of Photoshop. But now, with generative AI, I was able to do that. All the faces, clothing, and gestures are not affected by the AI, just clothing in the lower right.
