Watching and waiting, hoping and praying
Leo, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, waiting patiently for my wife to return home.
Once he heard her car he was happy. He was devoted to her.
This was to be his last holiday with us, staying on the farm he loved visiting near Tavistock.
He used to run up to the top of the local Tor, standing with his face into the wind and look for miles around, carefully surveying the whole area.
The rabbits lost a lot of weight being chased by him when he was on holiday in the area. He never caught one - he just loved the chase.
We cast his ashes into the wind on top of the Tor he loved to stand on.
A final tribute to him and a lasting memory for us.
