Me looking a bit nervous with my main vintage decorating muse, Lyn Gardner -owner of Empire Vintage. I have kept a number of articles about her from various magazines (so felt a bit like a stalker!). I was meant to go on a "Hidden Vintage Secrets" tour with her and her best friend, but it didn't work out as there weren't enough people to make the tour worthwhile. Because I was from NZ they were going to try and accommodate me and take me on my own tour, but we then wouldn't have been able to go to Camberwell Market on the Sunday. After chatting to her for ages (it's rare to actually find her in her shop, so that was a bonus) we discovered that we had done most of the tour already by finding most of the places ourselves.
